"I rarely endorse candidates, but for Greg I’ve made an exception.  He has the qualities we need in a state representative – an exceptional and empathetic listener who puts a great deal of thought and care into his decisions.  Greg will always strive to do what is best for his constituents because he truly cares about the people he serves."

"If you talk with Greg's former colleagues in the City Council with whom he disagreed strongly on particular legislation, they will report on his civility, positive demeanor, trustworthiness, and friendship even during the heat of impassioned debate. In the 160-member House of Representatives, relationships matter. You build consensus one conversation at a time. That's Greg's kind of place."

"As Newton city councilor at large, I am supporting Greg Schwartz to be our State Rep because of his experience in local government and as a primary care physician. Greg understands the challenges of representing and standing up for the values of the residents of Newton and Brookline and advocating for measures that will improve the quality and equity of healthcare for all the citizens of our state."

Greg is a Physician & Lawyer

Greg is a primary care physician at Brigham, practicing medicine for 25 years. If elected, Greg would be the only medical doctor in the entire 200-person legislature. For a body tasked with solving some of our pressing healthcare issues, it's vital to have someone with insider experience to take on the issue — especially in light of the Steward collapse and all that's coming to light about how the executives spent money on spies instead of patients and stuffed their own pockets before filing for bankruptcy. In combination with his medical degree, Greg has a law degree from Yale which means he understands making legislation legally effective. Combined, his background guides his philosophy and clinical problem-solving approach of understanding and empathizing with those affected by an issue and consulting scientists and other experts to determine the best possible solution with the people in mind
